SweetLocks Scented Hairbrush

I recently had the opportunity to review a new line of hairbrushes. Sweet Locks sent me two samples of their Sweet Locks scented hairbrushes to try out. The samples I received were the Cheeky Cherrylime and the Strawberry Sweetcake. SweetLocks are available at select retailers or online at SweetLocks


SweetLocks is a scented hairbrush that encourages little girls to brush their own hair, feel pretty and be empowered.The brushes are for girls ranging in age from seven to thirteen. The scent is released with every stroke of the brush leaving a light scent in the hair with no residue or damage to the scalp.

I have a 13 year old daughter and a 7 year old niece who helped me with this review. My daughter obviously is at the age where she needs no encouragement to brush her hair.My daughter Tegan  is always trying out different styles and has a massive collection of styling tools. Tegan tried out the Strawberry Sweetcake brush. The hairbrush works great and she loved the scent.

The Cheeky Cherrylime went to my niece Summer. Every morning before school my brother brings her over to my house for her hair appointment. Yes, every morning she knocks on my door and tells me what hairstyle she wants for school and I do her hair for her. Summer was thrilled when I presented her with her very own special hairbrush. She absolutely loved it.

Divine Age Guardian Creme with Growth Factor Review

I recently had the opportunity to review an anti-aging face cream from Perfective Ceuticals.
The product I reviewed was Divine Age Guardian Creme with growth factor. This is a rich nourishing cream infused with high strength anti- aging ingredients to rejuvenate the skin from the inside out.

 

The Review:

The cream is indeed rich , however, it is not heavy. When I first opened the jar I was concerned that the cream would be to heavy for my sensitive skin.Once I tried the cream my fears quickly subsided. The cream is rich but it feels very lightweight on the skin and it did not irritate my skin the way some anti-aging products have in the past. I apply the cream to my face twice a day, once in the morning and once at bedtime.Over the years I have taken the time to ensure that my face does not show its age. However, I never paid that much attention to the neck area until recently. I have discovered that my neck shows more signs of aging than my face. I apply the cream to my neck three times a day, morning, noon and night. I have seen a tremendous improvement in the skin on my neck. My skin is more hydrated and does not look crinkled and old anymore.

Water, Cyclopentasiloxane, Triethylhexanoin, Oil Squalane, Emu Oil, Dimethicone, Glycerin, 1-Butylene Glycol, 3- Butylene Glycol, Dimethicone/Copolyol Crosspolymer, Matrixl ( Palmitoyl Pentapeptide-4),
Polyquaternium-51, Raffinose, Beefsteak Extract, Epidermal Growth Factor (EGF), Ginseng Extract, Licorice Extract, Lactic Acid, Hydroxproline, Vitamin E Acetate, Retinol, Sodium Hyaluronate, Methylparaben, Ethylparaben and Fragrance.
